Parliamentary elections on the 09th of February 2025

The launch of a VAA in Kosovo was made possible through the cooperation between smartvote, the Swiss Development Agency (SDC), and financial support from the Luxembourg Development Cooperation. The local partner, the Kosova Democratic Institute (KDI), contributed essential local insights and liaised with parties and the public, while smartvote provided the technical solution as well as methodological expertise. 

All parties running in the election were contacted in advance and given the opportunity to complete a questionnaire of 26 questions. Unanswered questions were coded by experts. The smartvote project has proven to be a transformative initiative in Kosovo's 2025 elections, showing potential for enhancing voter awareness, political engagement, and electoral transparency.
